Nihal Sanjay Singh

Nihal Singh received his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, in 2021. While working towards his undergraduate degree, Nihal interned at the DRAM and Emerging Memory Group at Micron Technology and the Quantum Hardware team at QpiAI. After graduation, he joined the Laboratory of Semiconductor Materials at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) as a Research Assistant. He joined OPUS Lab at UC Santa Barbara as a Ph.D. student in Fall 2022. Nihal's research interests include nanoelectronics, analog VLSI circuits, and particularly device-circuit co-design with applications in advanced computing, sensing systems, and space technology. Apart from research, he loves traveling, everything sci-fi, and chasing great workouts.
